Who this is for

If any of this sounds like you, you're in the right place.

  • 01You've wanted to try boxing but a coed gym felt like a lot to walk into cold.
  • 02You're bored of the same fitness classes and want to actually get good at something.
  • 03You want to hit hard, build some strength, and blow off the week's steam.
  • 04You'd rather learn the real thing than punch the air to a playlist.

The class

Real technique, and a workout to match.

Every session mixes boxing fundamentals with conditioning and some resistance work. You'll drill stance, footwork, combinations, and defense with a coach actually watching and correcting you. The conditioning is there to build your engine, not to fill the hour.

You should walk out a little sharper than you walked in: stronger, better coordinated, and more comfortable taking up space in a room.

Coach Megan, Women's Program Head Coach at Ballard Barbell and Boxing Club

Megan

Women's Program Head Coach

Megan came up as a Division 1 athlete, so she knows what real training looks like: showing up, pushing limits, competing when it counts. She found boxing while teaching in public schools and got hooked on it as both a challenge and a way to shake off a hard day.

She's trained at BBBC for five years, and now she runs the women's program she wishes she'd had when she started. That means technique taught properly, intensity that meets you where you are, and a coach who's genuinely in your corner.

Her classes are built on real fundamentals and steady progression, with a focus on helping every woman feel like she belongs in the ring, whatever her starting point.
