Ballard Barbell and Boxing Club
The flagship class · All levels

The class that
built this gym.

You'll warm up, spend most of the hour drilling combinations on the mitts with a partner, then close with about ten minutes of conditioning designed to empty the tank. The programming shifts daily, so your body never gets too comfortable.

What you'll learn

Skills that take months
to show up.

Boxing rewards consistency. You won't be a different boxer after your first class. After three months, you'll notice. After a year, your friends will.

The coaching builds proper punching mechanics, footwork, defensive technique, and an actual understanding of how to control your body and your opponent's space. None of that lives in a single workout.

What people ask first.

You won't need any equipment for your first free class. Just wear something you can sweat in and bring water. We provide all the boxing gear you need, including wraps and gloves. If you've been boxing before, feel free to bring your own wraps, gloves, and mitts.
