What the hour looks like

Here's what
actually happens.

Walking into a boxing gym for the first time is the hard part. Once you're in, it's a warm-up, some skill work with a partner, and a finisher that leaves you spent. Nobody's getting punched in the face.

01

Warm up and jump rope

We start with rope and core work to get you loose. If you've never touched a jump rope since grade school, that's fine. You'll get the hang of it.

02

Partner up and box

You'll catch your partner's punches on padded mitts and throw your own. We pair beginners with seasoned members who set the pace and keep it comfortable. You will not get hit.

03

Finish with a HIIT burst

The last ten minutes are high-intensity intervals, different every class. This is the part that gets you in shape. Scale it to whatever your body has that day.

Before you come

You need
almost nothing.

Wear something you can sweat in and bring water. We have all the boxing gear you need. If you've boxed before and have your own wraps and gloves, bring them. Otherwise we've got you.
